Fachhochschule Hagenberg

Since 2014, I teach “Operating Systems and IT Security” at the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg. The course is, basically, an introduction into Linux for system administrators. It thus strongly focuses on the command line and covers all tasks from the installation of the system to setting up and securing a web server. Towards the end of the term, the focus shifts to security aspects like encryption and securing the system.
